Salary: $21.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician in delivering patient care and an exceptional patient experience.
• Escort patients, clean and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Manage scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and external care coordination.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as directed by the provider.
• Participate in patient outreach and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
