Senior Technical Recruiter (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite position

Salary: $116,000–$164,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance across multiple engineering disciplines and openings.
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders on role requirements, interview plans, hiring timelines, and recruiting strategy.
• Develop sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and close highly sought-after passive candidates.
• Manage candidate pipelines, improve hiring velocity, and support a strong candidate experience.
• Lead interview debriefs and guide hiring teams through candidate evaluation, decisions, and closing strategy.
• Report recruiting metrics, monitor pipeline health, identify risks, and maintain consistent ATS processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Engineering recruiting experience in mechanical, avionics, propulsion, thermal controls, software, GNC, structures, or satellites.
• Experience with Greenhouse ATS or a similar applicant tracking system.
• Experience operating autonomously, managing competing priorities, and working in high-growth organizations.
• Excellent attention to detail and process discipline.
