Vertical Building Construction Project Manager

Location: San Francisco, California; onsite

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and deliver complex vertical building construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Integrate owners, design-build teams, trade partners, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders across multiple project phases.
• Monitor schedules, critical path activities, contractor performance, productivity, safety, quality, and compliance.
• Identify risks related to phased occupancy, logistics, ongoing site operations, and complex construction sequencing.
• Coordinate resolution of field issues, design conflicts, delays, and unforeseen conditions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections and ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Architectural, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience managing commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, higher education, or high-rise vertical building projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in outdoor field environments and perform physical activities including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
