Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Salary: $20.50–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Implement incoming and in-process inspection plans and submit non-conformance reports when quality issues are identified.
• Support the reduction of defective parts, process errors, inefficiencies, and warranty costs.
• Identify, document, and process conforming and non-conforming materials while coordinating defect reporting.
• Support calibration activities, including torque wrench calibration.
• Troubleshoot semiconductor industry testing discrepancies and manage manufacturing test data for customer acceptance testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, testing, continuous improvement, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of ISO standards and familiarity with geometry, trigonometry, ratios, fractions, and proportions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and process-driven environments.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to work on-site in Saugerties, New York.
