Metrology Quality Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; onsite in an office and manufacturing environment

Salary: $30–$41 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain test and measurement equipment inventories and calibration recall records.
• Coordinate external calibration contracts, onsite calibration schedules, and offsite equipment shipments.
• Develop calibration procedures and maintain documentation in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Perform calibration, troubleshooting, fault isolation, adjustment, and repair across temperature, dimensional, mechanical, and electronic parameters.
• Maintain calibration data, equipment records, KPIs, activity reports, and test evaluation documentation.
• Monitor cleanroom particles and certify ESD workbenches and equipment while supporting manufacturing, inspection, and engineering issue resolution.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing metrology.
• Experience with GageTrak or other calibration management software.
• Experience with MS Excel, Jira, and MS D365.
• General knowledge of CAD and spatial analyzer software or similar tools.
• Engineering or metrology degree or certification preferred, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations for space technology export compliance; security clearance or eligibility may be required.
