Senior Technical Trainer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Reading, UK; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Independent travel is required for onsite training delivery.

What you will do

• Consult with stakeholders to define technical enablement needs and align training content with business requirements.
• Work with Engineering, Product Management, subject-matter experts, Sales, and Support to consolidate, review, and validate technical knowledge.
• Design, build, maintain, and deliver training courses and materials in eLearning, video, simulation, lab, and instructor-led formats.
• Deliver technical training to customers, prospects, partners, and internal employees in person and through virtual channels.
• Design and maintain virtual lab environments and associated lab guides.
• Manage relevant Learning Management System functions, conduct peer reviews, and support training projects.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering technical training in person and remotely.
• At least 5 years of experience with cybersecurity products or platforms, such as endpoint security, vulnerability management, SIEM, network security, firewalls, UTMs, or compliance solutions.
• Experience designing and developing technical training materials and writing assessments.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills required.
• Ability to manage parallel tasks, prioritize work, learn new technologies quickly, and work across multiple geographic regions.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global products and certification-based training programs.
• Experience creating video content and simulations with tools such as Adobe Premiere, ScreenFlow, Camtasia, or Captivate.
• Knowledge of PCI, CIS, NIST, or other compliance standards and experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience creating custom scripts, building complex virtual environments, adult learning theory, or instructional design models.
• CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, or cloud platform certifications.
