What you will do
- Prepare samples and reagents for analytical testing and quality control.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform routine testing and measurements supporting R&D and product quality assurance.
- Document procedures, observations, and results in accordance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Manage laboratory inventory and maintain organization, cleanliness, and good laboratory practices.
- Support method validation, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and collaboration with chemists, scientists, and operations staff.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
- Laboratory skills gained through coursework, research, internships, or co-ops.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance and access authorization for work with nuclear materials.
- Willingness to work in a highly regulated, safety-conscious laboratory environment, including extended hours and weekends when necessary.
Nice to have
- 0β4 years of experience in an analytical, quality control, or research laboratory.
- Experience with titration, spectroscopy, chromatography, or mass spectrometry.
- Experience with hazardous or nuclear materials, UF6, HF, or regulated environments such as GMP, GLP, DOE, or NRC.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments and strong team communication skills.
