Laboratory Analyst

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze samples independently after completing department-specific training.
• Use laboratory instrumentation and analytical methodologies for semivolatiles, volatiles, or metals.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Assist with validation and method detection limit studies.
• Investigate client inquiries and corrective action requests, and prepare responses.
• Maintain technical information and laboratory notebooks while following SOPs and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline with 0–2 years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience, or 3 years of relevant experience such as sample preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline with 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Advanced English language skills required.
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills, plus basic computer skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
