Analytical Lab Technician

hirify.global is localizing the battery supply chain through recovery, reuse, recycling, and large-scale production of battery materials in the United States.

What you will do

• Prepare samples and perform established chemical, metrological, and metallurgical tests.
• Record, analyze, and report laboratory data accurately using established procedures.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and verify laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Sample and test physical characteristics in a production environment.
• Support laboratory organization, inventory, safety audits, and special projects.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field, or at least two years of related experience.
• Experience in laboratory, quality, or chemical production environments.
• Knowledge of sample preparation, chemical handling, laboratory hazards, waste handling, safe work practices, data management, and documentation.
• Experience with analytical methods such as ICP-OES, auto-titration, X-ray fluorescence, or total organic carbon analysis.
• Ability to perform basic chemistry calculations and use laboratory information management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, lift 35 pounds, use a step ladder, and sit or stand for more than two hours.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time position supporting production quality and safety.
• B shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 5 p.m.–5 a.m., with alternating Wednesdays.
• C shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 5 a.m.–5 p.m., with alternating Wednesdays.
• Work is performed under supervision while building toward independent laboratory operation.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
