What you will do
- Prepare media and perform media quality control.
- Order and restock consumables and laboratory materials.
- Clean, sterilize, prepare, and distribute glassware while maintaining inventory levels.
- Manage lab coats, scrubs, towels, gases, dry ice, and basic equipment maintenance, moving, and installation.
- Provide backup support for shipping, receiving, and chemical inventory management.
- Follow safety procedures, support process improvements, and author or revise internal and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 0–1 years of laboratory operations experience.
- BS degree in biological sciences.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally move heavy equipment.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and to bend, lift, stretch, and climb as needed.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general-use software applications.
