Analytical Laboratory Technician (Battery Materials)

What you will do

• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses supporting CAM1 production quality control and CAM R&D projects.
• Execute high-volume sample analysis while maintaining the laboratory and supporting related operational tasks.
• Coordinate with CAM1 operators and CAM R&D scientists on sample status, data discrepancies, and technical questions.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely data reports for cross-functional teams.
• Manage chemical, consumable, and laboratory supply inventories and coordinate restocking.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical laboratory instrumentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field, or at least two years of related analytical laboratory experience.
• Experience in laboratory, quality, or chemical production environments.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices including sample preparation, chemical handling, waste handling, safety procedures, documentation, data entry, and experimental execution.
• Experience with analytical methods such as ICP-OES, auto-titration, X-ray fluorescence, or total organic carbon.
• Ability to perform basic chemistry, mathematics, and calculations and use LIMS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds, use a step ladder, and sit or stand for more than two hours.
