TL;DR

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; onsite work with access to the DOE Hanford Site required

Salary: $155,000–$220,000 annually

hirify.global is developing and operating uranium enrichment services in the United States to restore domestic nuclear fuel production.

What you will do

  • Oversee construction activities from pre-construction through turnover to operations, ensuring safe, timely, budget-compliant, and specification-compliant execution.
  • Supervise field work, construction scopes, site logistics, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate engineering, project management, field crews, design engineers, subcontractors, DOE personnel, and regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze schedules, identify technical and construction risks, and recommend mitigations involving methods, resources, safety, and delivery.
  • Ensure inspections, Inspection Test Plan holdpoints, NQA-1 quality verifications, and required documentation are completed.
  • Coordinate project closeout and turnover in accordance with company, DOE, NQA-1, and authority-having-jurisdiction requirements.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of industrial construction experience, including at least 5 years in nuclear facility or DOE site construction.
  • Experience managing complex construction projects in highly regulated environments and experience at the DOE Hanford Site or another DOE nuclear facility.
  • Active DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain Q clearance, background investigation eligibility, and access to the DOE Hanford Site.
  • Experience working under Nuclear Quality Assurance standards and advanced knowledge of nuclear facility construction safety protocols.
  • OSHA 30 certification, a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and advanced knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Nice to have

  • Experience with nuclear fuel cycle facilities, hot cells, or radiologically controlled construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Safety Trained Supervisor certification.
  • NQA-1 auditor training or experience with nuclear quality assurance programs.
