Construction Field Engineer / Construction Supervisor (Nuclear)

Location: Onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho; must be based in or relocate to Idaho Falls. Travel to other hirify.global project locations may be required. Remote employees travel to the Santa Clara, California headquarters twice per quarter, but this position is onsite.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Support daily field execution across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty subcontractor scopes.
• Perform construction supervision, field inspections, receipt inspections, and progress verification against drawings, specifications, codes, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate onsite activities among subcontractors, project management, engineering, quality, safety, operations, inspectors, and regulatory representatives.
• Manage construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, tracking logs, constructability reviews, and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Support testing, commissioning, turnover documentation, punchlist completion, and operational handover.
• Assist with planning, reporting, schedule updates, cost awareness, change identification, and resolution of field issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial, mission-critical, or comparable environments.
• Experience in regulated or high-consequence environments such as DOE, nuclear, aerospace, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, means, and methods.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, inspections, ITPs, nonconformances, and turnover documentation.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary field activities and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 certification is required; applicants must meet applicable U.S. person requirements if the position involves access to export-controlled information.
