Technician 3, Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Handle equipment form-factor conversions, setup, buy-off, installation, and setup propagation.
• Support equipment improvement projects coordinated by engineers.
• Troubleshoot major equipment issues in production and control spare-parts inventory.
• Support yield sustaining, new process evaluation, and new product programs.
• Train production operators and update technical documentation as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma in any engineering discipline.
• Good command of English is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of control systems.
• Follow safety and health rules in the manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Fresh graduate status or up to 3 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and machine programming languages.
• Ability to operate CAD or use programming languages such as Python or C++.
