Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations Management

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Salary: $76,000–$90,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Supervise second-shift manufacturing staff and provide daily work direction, training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, cleanliness standards, work restrictions, and hazard controls in partnership with EHS.
• Coordinate with human resources, process supervisors, engineers, and management to maintain staffing, communication, and shift continuity.
• Monitor production output, quality, schedule attainment, resources, equipment efficiency, and on-time shipment performance.
• Investigate quality defects and corrective action requests, recommend solutions, and support scrap and cost reduction.
• Promote Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing practices, including 6S, SPC, Kanban, PDCA, visual management, and daily improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, and workforce-adaptation skills.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Must be able to work onsite in Billerica, Massachusetts, on the specified second shift; immigration-related sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
