Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite in Methuen, Massachusetts; candidates must live within commutable distance. Relocation benefits are not available. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $80,909–$150,259 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support for released products and resolve manufacturing and quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Set up and automate manufacturing processes for existing products and new product introductions.
• Apply Lean methods, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Kaizen, structured problem-solving, and statistical techniques to improve production.
• Create and maintain controlled work instructions, test instructions, forms, BOMs, routings, and labor standards in MES.
• Design tools and fixtures, coordinate time studies and line balancing, and optimize production processes.
• Train and certify assembly operators on manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a mixed production environment.
• Experience with structured problem-solving tools, SPC, process control, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the Methuen, Massachusetts worksite.
• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical hardware and follow safety requirements involving high voltage, gas, water, and heat.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving production problems with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Power BI, Oracle, Minitab, MES, or product lifecycle management systems.
