Manufacturing Cost Analyst (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, New York, USA. Hybrid arrangement with telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic location as the assigned hirify.global office.

Salary: $92,700–$120,700 per year. Exact salary depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Support all aspects of the product costing process, including building costs for specific semiconductor products.
• Support budget P&L preparation, monthly forecasting, actuals reporting, and variance analysis.
• Develop product-specific cost information for products manufactured in factories in the USA, Germany, and Singapore.
• Interact with factory leaders to understand and describe operational issues affecting cost efficiency.
• Report monthly financial results and cost performance to executive leadership.
• Support new-product business cases, long-range strategic planning, and ad hoc business analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• At least 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or related finance roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience with monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• At least 2 years of experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP to create inventory and cost reports.
• At least 2 years of experience analyzing variances, including fixed-cost absorption and volume impacts.
• At least 2 years of experience creating forecast models and tools for tactical and strategic planning.
• At least 2 years of experience presenting materials to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• At least 2 years of experience in variance accounting.
