Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Chain)

TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain (Finance/Procurement): Supporting financial planning, reporting, and decision-making across procurement and centralized supply chain functions with an accent on cost analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and operational performance. Focus on building advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards, analyzing material costs and purchase price variance, and improving reporting and month-end close processes.

Location: Hybrid in West Hills, California, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. This role is available in the United States and does not offer immigration sponsorship or support, including Form I-983 training plans for STEM OPT.

Salary: $80,000–$133,000 national target base pay range; $88,000–$146,000 target base pay range for California and New York metro. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Procurement and centralized Supply Chain stakeholders on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.
• Develop and improve financial models, Power BI dashboards, and management reporting.
• Analyze material costs, purchase price variance, supply chain cost drivers, and operational performance.
• Support month-end close through variance analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analyses for cost optimization, profitability improvement, and strategic initiatives.
• Automate reporting, improve data quality, and streamline financial processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related analytical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sophisticated financial modeling, large-dataset analysis, management reporting, and Power Query.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards.
• Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close, GAAP, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule from the West Hills, California office and authorization to work without immigration sponsorship.
