Portfolio Partner - Asset Valuation (Fintech)

What you will do

• Maintain and update the Fair Value model under the guidance of senior team members.
• Prepare data inputs, check consistency, and reconcile variances during the monthly accounting process.
• Prepare data, test assumptions, and support model development and forecasting improvements.
• Analyze default rates, performance metrics, and capital needs with Finance and Risk teams.
• Document and execute backtesting and stress testing to assess model robustness.
• Generate reports and visualizations summarizing model outcomes and financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• SQL and Python are required.
• Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, or forecasting through internships or academic projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of asset valuation, forecasting techniques, or accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across Finance, Risk, and other teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with another statistical programming language.
