AI Engineering Lead

Location: Los Angeles HQ; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable AI applications and agentic workflows using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Define technical strategy and engineering standards for reliable, secure, high-performance AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into AI-powered products and lead delivery from ideation through production.
• Mentor engineers and promote software craftsmanship, testing, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Build integrations with AWS Bedrock, enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Establish practices for model evaluation, cost optimization, monitoring, governance, and observability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of enterprise AI initiatives from concept through production.
• Expert hands-on experience building AI applications with Python and strong knowledge of LLMs, fine-tuning, evaluation, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Anthropic Claude models, Claude Code, AWS Bedrock, and AI-assisted software development.
• Experience building multi-agent systems with LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, or similar frameworks.
• Strong background in API development, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to design secure, privacy-conscious, governed, compliant, and auditable AI systems and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
