AI/ML Technical Lead

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. Must be willing to work at the customer location 1–2 times per week.

Base compensation: $150,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML and generative AI solutions.
• Build production-grade AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM-powered applications, RAG solutions, and intelligent automation.
• Oversee solution quality, performance, scalability, security, governance, and operational readiness.
• Define monitoring, observability, evaluation, and optimization practices for AI agents.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore engineering teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience or 3+ years of AI/ML, data science, or generative AI solution experience.
• 3+ years leading technical teams and global delivery programs.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent systems, orchestration, tool calling, function execution, agent memory, planning, and reasoning.
• Experience with RAG, vector search, workflow automation, task delegation, AI governance, and security controls.
