LLM Applications Engineer

Location: Hybrid in New York, San Francisco, Munich, or London

Salary: $130K–$175K annually plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale LLM infrastructure for the hirify.global Web Platform.
• Develop user-facing AI features and intuitive UI components for querying, analyzing, and visualizing experimental datasets.
• Build retrieval systems, agentic workflows, and data pipelines that connect experimental data with actionable AI insights.
• Integrate LLM capabilities with SQL databases and data analysis engines to produce grounded, high-fidelity responses.
• Work across the AI backend and React frontend while improving API performance and asynchronous processing.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software development experience focused on full-stack web applications.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with API design, asynchronous processing, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work with the listed hybrid office locations.

Nice to have

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience evaluating LLMs and mitigating hallucinations in scientific or technical contexts.
• Familiarity with SQL query optimization for LLM context generation.
• Product mindset focused on seamless LLM-first user experiences.
