Mental Health Therapist (Behavioral Health)

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year. Sign-on bonus: $2,500.

What you will do

• Provide patient-centered, outcomes-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families aged 12 and older.
• Complete mental health assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, and evidence-based interventions.
• Lead support and psychoeducation groups and deliver mental health webinars and workshops.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and medical clinicians to coordinate integrated patient care.
• Address patients’ social needs and coordinate referrals for specialty care, hospitalization, and advanced psychiatric assessment or treatment.

Requirements

• Master’s-level qualification and licensure as a mental health clinician, such as LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD.
• Candidates in the process of independent licensure must obtain it within two years of hire.
• Experience providing counseling and mental health services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and psychological issues.
• BLS certification, or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Ability to exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, and contribute within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other behavioral health disorders with evidence-based methods.
• Experience with behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, or case management.
