Director, Finance and Accounting M&A Integration (Semiconductor)

Location: USA - Texas - Austin

Salary: $152,000–$266,000 per year

What you will do

• Support mergers and acquisitions accounting, due diligence, deal model reviews, valuation, purchase accounting, transaction documentation, and Day 2 integration.
• Research, document, and resolve technical accounting issues and complex transactions with business development, divisional finance, and global finance stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party valuation providers and external audit firms.
• Support quarterly SEC filings through the preparation and review of financial statement schedules and footnotes.
• Maintain global accounting policies and assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements.
• Lead training and communications on M&A accounting trends, standards, and related processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA license.
• 10+ years of experience, including experience with a Big Four public accounting firm or a global Fortune 500 company.
• At least 2 years of experience leading effective teams.
• Substantial knowledge of authoritative U.S. GAAP and IFRS technical accounting research and application.
• Experience with M&A accounting, purchase transactions, SOX control compliance, integration, and financial reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly to stakeholders, senior management, and finance teams.
