Director, Cost Accounting (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the global corporate cost accounting function across manufacturing and business units.
• Establish and improve standard material, labor, and overhead costing methodologies.
• Oversee inventory accounting, physical inventory reconciliation, reserves, valuation, and risk controls.
• Direct gross margin, cost of sales, inventory, production yield, product margin, and customer margin analysis for executive leadership.
• Manage month-end close activities, production and CIP order settlement, WBS elements, allocations, activity rates, and cost center planning.
• Partner with Operations, FP&A, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT on cost optimization, SAP enhancements, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive cost accounting experience, including 4+ years managing managers and professional staff.
• Experience leading cost accounting strategy in a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of hands-on SAP experience with deep expertise in Product Costing and COPA.
• Experience with public-company accounting, SOX compliance, internal control design, and process improvement.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to executive and non-finance audiences.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor or similar electronics manufacturing experience.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA.
