Financial Due Diligence Director

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site in Charlotte, Atlanta, Arlington, or Fort Lauderdale, United States. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Salary: $223,514–$289,172 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate clients, private equity groups, and commercial lenders.
• Plan, execute, and direct transaction analyses, including quality of earnings, net working capital, and business performance assessments.
• Manage engagements across the transaction lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional and international service teams.
• Serve as the primary client contact, lead meetings, manage expectations, and resolve engagement issues.
• Develop client relationships and drive proposals, thought leadership, sales targets, and follow-on work.
• Manage, coach, mentor, and evaluate staff while supporting recruitment and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of related experience in a similar consulting or transaction advisory practice serving cross-industry clients.
• Industry-recognized professional certification required; CPA or related license or certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, mentoring, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects; willingness to travel up to 25%.
