Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications (Fullstack)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. U.S. person status or eligibility for deemed export licensing is required because the role involves access to U.S.-controlled export information and items.

Salary: $159,000–$226,000 per year for the Senior Software Engineer level. The broader California pay range is $135,000–$267,000.

What you will do

• Design and implement web applications using modern frontends and application servers.
• Integrate applications with APIs and microservices in heterogeneous environments.
• Design and implement backend systems, including data models, APIs, and supporting pipelines.
• Rapidly iterate on internal tooling and develop new applications as the company grows.
• Influence and adopt software practices and patterns that support a large codebase and engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of software development or relevant industry experience.
• Experience building, shipping, and supporting complex, data-intensive full-stack applications.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person or be eligible for deemed export licensing, including through U.S. citizenship, U.S. nationality, lawful permanent residence, or qualifying asylee or refugee status.

Nice to have

• Experience working on ambiguous problems and with multiple programming languages.
• Experience with API design.
• Experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience with GraphQL, Node, OAuth, Terraform, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
