Customs Brokerage Agent

What you will do

• Receive documents and prepare import and export customs entries using Customsware or other customs software.
• Apply customs standard operating procedures and ensure timely shipment clearance.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in operational systems.
• Monitor customs clearances, exception reports, and data integrity issues.
• Communicate with customers, service providers, and internal offices regarding shipment status and issues.
• Process customer billing and service provider charges accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work primarily seated at a desk and use standard office equipment.
• Strong organization, reliability, deadline management, customer service, and collaboration skills.
