Logistics Coordinator - 24/7 Shift - (8446)

Location: United States-related domestic port and customs operations; the company is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.

What you will do

• Prepare and compile documents required for the discharge of foreign cargo at domestic ports.
• Coordinate customs clearance and monitor customs broker procedures and reports.
• Serve as a point of contact for existing and new customers.
• Enter and verify system and shipment data with the documentation coordinator.
• Prepare invoices, check costs, review jobs, and close completed jobs.
• Support customer meetings and complete related tasks assigned by the team leader.

Requirements

• Ability to coordinate with importers, shipping companies, airlines, railroads, trucking companies, pipeline operators, customs brokers, and the United States Customs Service.
• Accuracy in documentation, system data entry, cost checking, and job closing.
• Ability to follow customer-specific standard operating procedures.
• Availability for a 24/7 shift schedule.
• English communication skills required for customer and logistics coordination.
