Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Salary: $120,000–$158,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Engineer full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform.
• Design, develop, and deploy production applications, demonstrations, and proofs-of-technology for customers.
• Conduct design and code reviews and improve application quality, architecture, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, test, and enhance customer applications.
• Lead technical deep-dives, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
• Write technical documentation, identify risks, and collaborate with product management and engineering on product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• Experience deploying enterprise-scale applications or working in a customer-facing role.
• Software development experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with Git or other version control software.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
