Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, U.S.; EST or West Coast preferred. Travel required up to 25%.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Embed with enterprise customer teams to deploy hirify.global Connect AI, configure MCP servers, connect data sources, and validate agent workflows in production.
• Build and test AI agent integrations with correctly scoped data access and configure semantic context and governance layers.
• Write production code in Python, Java, or C# using MCP, REST, OData, and hirify.global drivers.
• Deliver iterative solutions on a multi-sprint cadence, including weekly customer demos, validation checkpoints, and workflow refinement.
• Monitor deployment health and MCP performance, troubleshoot agent accuracy, resolve production issues, and support the Customer Success handoff.
• Document product gaps, agent behavior patterns, reusable code, deployment recipes, and troubleshooting guidance for the Connect AI product team.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting with hands-on delivery experience.
• Track record of shipping production code in customer-facing or customer-impacting roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and experience building API integrations, data pipelines, or connector-based workflows.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, ODBC/JDBC, JSON/XML parsing, and multi-source data mapping.
• Understanding of LLM data usage, MCP, AI agents, RBAC, OAuth 2.1, and semantic scoping.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MCP and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or Copilot Studio.
• Prior FDE, professional services, or solutions-engineering experience at a data, analytics, or AI platform company.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
