What you will do
- Develop and manage transportation strategies and operational plans aligned with business and customer requirements.
- Oversee route planning, scheduling, vehicle allocation, driver management, and daily transportation activities.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Manage the transportation budget and identify cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities.
- Implement transportation management systems and resolve complex operational issues, including delays, damages, and customer complaints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in transportation operations management.
- Experience managing and optimizing complex transportation networks.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience with transportation management systems and logistics software, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Native Polish proficiency and business English proficiency are required.
