Performance Controller (Finance)

Location: Hybrid position based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 87,000–124,000 per year

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting and the five-year planning process by analyzing trends, new orders, revenue, and stakeholder input.
• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, affiliate reconciliations, and audit support.
• Document, test, and monitor order-booking processes and controls.
• Prepare monthly forecasts covering order booking, profitability, SG&A, and headcount, with comparisons to budgets and prior periods.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce and prepare management presentations.
• Analyze cost-center expense variances and support system updates, business process improvements, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple deliverables and deadlines.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
