Senior Controller - Contract (IoT)

Location: Richmond, British Columbia, Canada; onsite Monday–Thursday

Salary: CAD 145,000–160,000 per year

What you will do

• Advise senior leadership on the financial health and performance of the IoT Connectivity Business Unit.
• Lead weekly and monthly forecasting, variance reporting, annual planning, and budgeting processes.
• Build commercial FP&A processes, P&Ls, revenue and booking metrics, and business KPIs.
• Partner with Corporate Finance on integrating legacy finance functions and support investment decisions, special projects, and M&A.
• Prepare financial materials for business unit board presentations and executive decision-making.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Finance team while establishing governance and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of Finance and/or Accounting experience, ideally in FP&A.
• 3+ years of leadership experience and strong people management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and business partnership skills.
• Experience presenting to executive management and working across geographical boundaries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and expert-level Excel knowledge.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
