Equipment Finance Operations Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid or remote work arrangement may be available based on business needs. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Manage equipment finance operations across documentation, closing, servicing, payment processing, and final payoffs.
• Support clients during transaction closing and servicing, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues.
• Review and coordinate loan, lease, and collateral documentation.
• Monitor booked transactions and outstanding items, identify discrepancies and operational risks, and resolve them promptly.
• Collaborate with sales, credit, legal, and servicing teams on transaction closing and portfolio administration.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen operational controls and efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in equipment finance operations.
• Experience with loan and lease documentation, transaction closing, servicing, collateral monitoring, and client interaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and loan and lease servicing environments.
• Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States location is required.
