Loan Syndications Director

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; the proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Manage loan syndication origination and amendment processes from start to finish for Middle Market Commercial & Industrial lending.
• Prepare bank books, Confidential Information Memorandums, teasers, and other marketing materials for co-lenders.
• Arrange and participate in bank meetings, collaborate with Agency Services, and execute syndication closings.
• Review underwriting and legal documentation, manage agented transactions, and lead amendments to previously closed syndications.
• Produce reporting for internal stakeholders, external data sharing, senior management, and auditors.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in C&I credit, lending, syndicated bank transactions, and debt capital markets.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing complex documentation.
• Experience managing multi-bank transactions and structured syndication workflows.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and client-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
