Software Engineer (React/AWS)

Location: Remote

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year; actual offer may vary by geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain small- to medium-complexity features across web and mobile platforms using React and React Native.
• Build scalable backend services with C#, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Work with AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch, using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Integrate event-driven systems and messaging technologies such as Debezium, Kafka, and SNS/NServiceBus.
• Maintain data sources including PostgreSQL, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Athena while supporting data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers on requirements, feature planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with React, React Native, C#, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, basic system design, testing, CI/CD, version control, and code review practices.
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain clean code independently while collaborating with product and design teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Freshworks.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent.
• Experience with project management, software development, and ticketing tools.
