Software Engineer II (Fullstack)

Location: Rosslyn, VA or remote within the United States

Base salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain user interface and REST API features.
• Translate requirements and design specifications into robust software solutions with a high degree of autonomy.
• Develop features tailored to the operational, security, and compliance needs of defense and commercial aviation customers.
• Contribute to architectural designs that meet business, security, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, program managers, and industry experts in an Agile environment.
• Mentor peers and maintain current knowledge of relevant software engineering technologies.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of software development experience and a strong understanding of software engineering practices.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with Go, REST APIs, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior SaaS product experience delivering scalable, observable, supportable, and reliable applications.
• US Citizenship and an active or obtainable US Government Top Secret security clearance are required.
