Manager, High Power Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States. Successful candidates must clear a US government background check to obtain clearance for onsite work at a government partner location.

Salary: $152,000–$228,000 USD annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead electrical utility construction activities for launch facilities.
• Develop construction drawings, requests for proposals, competitive bids, bid evaluations, and subcontractor selections.
• Design electrical systems and provide hazardous-area design requirements for other disciplines.
• Manage subcontractors, project schedules, budgets, and execution.
• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Develop team processes to optimize workflows and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in construction involving electrical systems, including analysis and design, hands-on field work, project management, and project execution.
• Experience leading complex projects in matrixed team environments with multiple customers.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary groups in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to clear a US government background check for onsite work at the Cape Canaveral location.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Department of Defense, USAF, USSF, and/or NASA.
• Experience in the aerospace or orbital launch vehicle sector.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
