Senior Compensation Analyst

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite office position. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, so the successful candidate must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Salary: $105,000–$150,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Act as the primary compensation partner for assigned business organizations and advise leaders and People Business Partners.
• Lead compensation planning for merit increases, promotions, equity planning, market adjustments, and off-cycle reviews.
• Review and approve salary offers, promotions, internal mobility, and other compensation changes.
• Build modeling, costing, and budget analyses to support compensation decisions.
• Conduct market pricing and analyze salary survey data to assess compensation competitiveness.
• Maintain compensation governance, data integrity, and compliance while identifying and mitigating compensation risks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Strong knowledge of salary structures, market pricing, and job evaluation.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with compensation planning systems and HRIS platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing due to U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
• Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, technology, or manufacturing organizations.
• Experience with Aon, Mercer, Radford, WTW, Pave, or similar compensation platforms and survey providers.
• Experience leading projects and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
