Project Manager - Store Construction

Location: Los Angeles HQ; onsite

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver flagship stores, pop-ups, experiential activations, and office spaces from early concept through store turnover.
• QA/QC construction drawings at DD, CD, and IFC stages and support construction documentation production.
• Coordinate design architects, production architects, engineers, furniture vendors, general contractors, and other consultants.
• Manage preconstruction, bidding, permits, budgets, schedules, procurement, construction quality, and project costs.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, coordinate millwork, storefronts, signage, technology, and operational requirements.
• Manage construction completion, punch lists, turnover to retail operations, and financial closeout documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in architectural design, construction management, store development, or experiential environments.
• Strong visual sensibility and understanding of spatial design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3D tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience producing layouts, renderings, polished presentations, and managing multiple active projects.
• Clear, concise, and proactive communication with internal teams and external partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with jurisdictional permit submissions and requirements.
• Experience producing complete retail construction drawing sets.
• Background in construction project management.
• Interest in emerging retail concepts and innovative customer experiences.
