Real Estate Design and Construction Manager

Location: San Jose, California; onsite at the San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters. The role supports projects in California and approximately 50 sites globally.

Salary: $134,800–$179,700 per year.

What you will do

• Manage large-scale real estate design and construction projects from concept through execution and close-out.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, Environment Health and Safety, IT, Legal, Procurement, Finance, consultants, architects, engineers, construction managers, and general contractors.
• Oversee project budgets, monthly job cost reports, forecasting models, consultant and contractor billing, contracts, and additional requests.
• Ensure compliance with global construction project governance, safety protocols, real estate standards, and workplace guidelines.
• Support audits, perform financial analysis, evaluate program scenarios, and ensure complete project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle ERP, Archibus, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
