Salary: $112,300–$159,450 USD per year.

What you will do

  • Support integration technicians and engineering representatives during hardware build and test operations.
  • Maintain an engineering presence on the operations floor, remove blockers, and resolve non-conformances affecting production.
  • Plan, schedule, prepare, coordinate, and direct functional tests, including test-director duties and go/no-go decisions.
  • Define and manage test plans, requirements, procedures, schedules, and operational handoffs with distributed engineering organizations.
  • Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing and assembly processes for safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.
  • Document non-conformance resolutions and work with quality teams on root-cause corrective actions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on integration, build, or test experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Hands-on hardware integration and testing experience with complex assemblies and systems.
  • Experience working with technicians, leading multi-person operations, and managing several projects in a high-stress environment.
  • Experience writing test plans, procedures, and presentations, and providing go/no-go judgment with supporting rationale.
  • Ability to plan and execute vehicle-level system verifications, leak checks, or environmental tests.
  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, electrical, or a related field with at least one year of related engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Python environments.
  • Ability to make independent judgments with limited information.
  • Specific certifications appropriate to the role.
