Regional Health & Safety Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead the health and safety strategy across distribution centres and associated transport operating locations.
• Provide professional health and safety guidance to site leadership and operational managers.
• Maintain policies, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance systems.
• Identify operational risks across warehouses, yards, vehicle movements, and transport activities, then implement mitigation plans.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and safety performance reporting.
• Develop safety training programmes and support safety committees, contractors, and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience managing health and safety within logistics, warehousing, or transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Experience managing multi-site operations, investigations, audits, and risk assessments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and training skills.
• NEBOSH General Certificate required at minimum.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• IOSH membership at TechIOSH, GradIOSH, or above.
