HSE and Security Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; onsite at a workforce accommodation site

What you will do

• Lead HSE programs, policies, procedures, training, communications, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Advise senior leadership, managers, supervisors, and operational teams on HSE strategy, compliance, and program deployment.
• Investigate incidents, workers’ compensation claims, and hazards, identifying root causes and implementing preventive controls.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations, support ISO certification audits, and coordinate corrective actions with regulatory agencies.
• Manage site security operations, including access control, visitor management, physical security, emergency response, and business continuity requirements.
• Supervise security personnel and contractors, conduct security audits and risk assessments, and investigate security incidents.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Health & Safety, Science, Public Health, or an equivalent field.
• CSP certification or an international equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in health, safety, or environment and 5+ years of people management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel.
• Knowledge of HSE codes, regulations, laws, standards, incident management, risk controls, and contractor evaluation.
• Military or law enforcement background is desirable.

Nice to have

• ISO or environmental auditing certification.
• Valid First Aid and working-at-heights certifications.
• OHSA 30 training.
