Senior Consultant, Business System Analysis

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements with business partners.
• Facilitate solution design discussions and prepare validated solution design documentation.
• Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technology and project professionals.
• Work primarily with the Rates desk on a cross-asset risk management platform, with potential exposure to other asset classes.
• Resolve ambiguous organizational, operational, and process challenges with broad business impact.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a comparable BSA/BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
• Strong requirements elicitation, technical writing, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and gap-analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Warehouse and Databricks.
• Proficiency with SQL queries, data structure design, data modeling, and Power BI.
• Experience with Alteryx, Excel pivot tables, Visio, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze data, manage stakeholders, and collaborate with diverse project and technology teams.

Nice to have

• Understanding of investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, Personal Portfolio Service, and GICs.
• French proficiency may be assessed during the hiring process.
