Business Analyst - Lending & PM Tools

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. The work arrangement, including the proportion of onsite and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligibility for incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Gather and document complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions.
• Develop and validate solution design documentation covering scope, requirements, and quality assurance.
• Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and guide technology and project teams.
• Analyze business performance and contribute to risk management, cost optimization, audit, and monitoring initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, working with developers when needed.
• Prepare presentations, communication plans, key messages, and other stakeholder materials.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a business systems consulting role leading projects and designing solutions.
• Knowledge of financial markets, including stocks, options, fixed income, and mutual funds.
• Working knowledge of financial product concepts and calculations such as bond amortization, accrued income, expected income, and yields.
• Experience with SQL, Azure DevOps, quality assurance, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States at the specified location is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Application or architecture development experience.
