Senior Consultant, Risk Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Own monthly and quarterly wholesale credit risk reporting for internal partner teams, senior management, and regulators.
• Develop detailed business requirements for robust reporting and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, Technology, data consumers, and data providers.
• Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and drive resolution across production reporting and project delivery.
• Analyze wholesale risk data and support its ingestion, measurement, monitoring, and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end testing, including requirements translation, test-case design, deliverable management, and issue escalation.

Requirements

• Experience delivering data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics projects in the banking sector.
• Proficiency in SQL and query writing.
• Knowledge of wholesale and capital markets reporting, Expected Credit Loss reporting, and Basel requirements for Risk-Weighted Assets reporting.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
