Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer (f/m/d) (Quantum Computing)

What you will do

• Implement and operate cloud, network, endpoint, and secure-access infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Act as the primary IT representative for the Hamburg site while supporting users and infrastructure across hirify.global locations.
• Maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting for infrastructure, networks, engineering platforms, development systems, and secure-access environments.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, GitLab, CI/CD environments, and license servers.
• Design and maintain enterprise networking, including switching, segmentation, wireless connectivity, VPN, ZTNA, and identity-based access.
• Integrate engineering systems, laboratory environments, and customer deployments; troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues and improve documentation and procedures.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, switching, and network segmentation.
• Experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Palo Alto, Aruba, or HPE/HP.
• Understanding of MFA, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, and identity-based access, plus strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, DevOps platforms, PowerShell, Bash, or automation tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Global Secure Access, ZTNA, Zscaler, WireGuard, OpenVPN, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or customer environments.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, or equivalent monitoring platforms.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300, or MD-102.
