Azure Network Engineer (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain Azure network infrastructures (VNets, routing, load balancers, application gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute)
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, including policies, NAT rules, routing, and security zones
• Provide Level-2 support for Azure network and firewall incidents and service requests
• Support Azure projects as a network SME from design through implementation and go-live
• Ensure compliance with security standards and cloud networking best practices
• Contribute to defining, documenting, and improving Azure network standards and reference architectures

Requirements

• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Practical experience with Palo Alto firewalls, ideally in Azure
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, IP addressing, VPN, security)
• Proven troubleshooting skills and Level-2 operational support experience
